Anyone who has watched TV in the last several months has seen the ads touting Hyundai’s new ten-year powertrain warranty. It certainly is an attention getter, which is exactly what it is suppose to be. But it’s really an evolutionary rather than revolutionary decision for the Korean automaker. After all, Hyundai has offered a five-year, 60,000 mile warranty on all of its vehicles since ’92.
